Recently bought this amp used and its really nice condition. But since i've been playing i've been noticing some intermittent sizzling/fizzing noises every so often. It happens even when my guitar's volume is completely down, and increases in volume when i turn up the amp.
I've attached a video of the sound.

The guy i bought it from barely used it (he bought it in 2013). The amp came with a loose tube that was prohibiting the normal channel from working, which has been solved. Been thinking of just getting the amp looked through by a local tech since it was just sitting at the guys house for so long not being used.
Any idea of what could be the issue?
Thanks!

Sounds like a grounding issue to me, but I’m sure someone more knowledgeable than me will be along soon.

Sounds like something arcing somewhere. Luckily, you’ve localized it to the very first stage of the vibrato channel, which really narrows it down.
My first step would be to replace V2 and see what happens.

Found that it was from the walls in my room. Seems like there is some dirty power/wiring running though the walls. not a problem when its a little farther away. Thanks everyone!
