My drapes are already wood/blinds. Here’s to it matching I actually hate wood floors though; I have very dainty/sensitive feet, wood hurts. I wear shoes inside the rest of the house already or else I have foot pain (the rest of my house is tile - I’m obv. bad at being Asian for not removing my shoes indoors.)
I should probably make a video of me touching then not touching the carpet, creating the buzz.

King Buzzo: I love when people come up to me and say “Your guitar sound was better on Stoner Witch, when you used a Les Paul. “...I used a Fender Mustang reissue on that, dumbass!

Wow, that really sucks.
One of the few places you can go barefoot in your house, and it causes your amp to hum.
A video would be cool.
So...you’re keeping the rug there?

I love the look and feel of hardwood floors, but I don't like the extra reverb/echoes for my music room (and can't really afford a ton of acoustic foam, etc.). With the fact that I live in an apartment (and have lived close to other people most of my adult life), I barely play my amps above "1" on the master volume. I miss playing a bit louder.somanytoys wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 9:50 amThat’s why in almost all conceivable situations, hardwood floors are preferable to carpet.
(The carpet rarely matches the drapes anyway...)
I know exactly what you mean! My hair was bright red until I was 7, then turned brown until I was 14, and then started graying. My eyebrows are blonde, as are my arm hairs, and when I get out of the shower, my chest hair looks like my cousins in Spain (VERY dark). NOTHING matches and it's crazy

I know what you mean, I lived in apartments for a lot of my life. And playing bass is much worse for that than guitar, because walls don’t stop bass sound waves - at all. Neighbors feel like they live next to some club with the volume on just 1 1/2.
Yeah, sounds like you’d spend a fortune on Just For Men or mascara to even out your carpet & drapes!!
