These are the right Jensens?

Post by zhivago » Thu Oct 12, 2006 2:34 am

...for my 2x10?

http://www.watfordvalves.com/product_detail.asp?id=1045

I need some speakers fast, and these are available in the UK, so this way I don't have to pay loads of shipping charges + import tax

thanks guys!

coolness...I'm pulling out the credit card for this one again...but at least I can leave it at the rehearsal space and save money from the amp hire :)

Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.

I think you'll dig 'em, Especially since you have nothing to compare them to now.  :)

Watford Valves rule .. got some very cool NOS 5881 valves from them a few years ago that are currently the power valves in my SFVR.

hopefuly they won't kill me on the shipping...it was odd..I placed the order, expecting the next page to be shipping methods, but all it said was "thank you for your order - shipping will be charged appropriately" ???

heh...ah well..I just want the amp up and running now....the people in the band are getting impatient with me and my gear!!!

You can use wire disconnects so you don't have to solder to the speakers. you'll just need a wire crimper and some cheap parts. You can prolly find a solderless jack.

I'll try to draw you a diagram later today.

I've got the same speaker (ordered from Watford Valves, too) in  my Laney, and it's great, has totally transformed my amp. Hurry up and get them plumbed in...
