i'm looking at a huge pile of them right now, the cusack tap a whirl, the caroline parabola and the starla are the most likely candidates for me. I would get a PN-2 but i just can't afford it right now. I can afford one of the aforementioned though. I like the clips i've heard of each for different things, the cusack is clean, the parabola is dirty and lo-fi sounding the starla has the chop and classic sounds
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.

Dang, I feel like when I (stupidly) sold a PN-2 last year it was all I could do to get a hundo for it...

You should just cop that used Starla on Reverb before I do...

No excuse for hobbit toes or didgeridoo, but it sounds pretty good... if it's the same price or more than a Hummingbird, though, I'd be hard pressed to bet against the EQD...

I wonder why the PN-2 gets so much hype lately. Other than beeing much more expensive (due to the hype...) and stereo, there's hardly any difference to the TR-2.

I built a Quaverato some what recently. Great peice of kit. I haven't spent alot of time with it yet, because I messed up the bypass relay, and have been dreading having to take it apart and correct it. But it is a great sounding trem with some excellent features. I'll try to spend some time with it tonight so I can give you a bit more info.

The Starla does chop really well, I got one of them just for that.

That. Looks. Cool.

The only drawback would seem to be not-stereo. You know, if you need that.

But man..."this mall has everything."

If you don't care much for boutique prices you might look at Nobels TR-X
