LPB-1

Post by JazzBlaster » Fri Feb 02, 2007 7:54 pm

I got a new EH LPB-1 today and I have to say it is the best booster I have ever used. Extemely clean has terific low end, I was afraid it might sound a bit trebly with the jaguar. It didn't it's fat fat fat!

I see you've also got a new Pulsar there. What did you think of it? I tried it out in a shop, and about 1/3 of the depth and rate was about full on amp tremelo, and if you turned it up any higher it just started making broken computer noises.
Don't you know that's sinful boy?

I think that's why you buy a pulsar?
I prefer their older stuff.

I love it! it has way more range than a conventional trem, you have to keep the depth below 1/2 for more conventional sounds. I can get everything from fender or vox trem sounds to Jonny Greenwood kind of swells. the best part about the small one is it's stereo so I can get nice rhodes trem sounds with my keyboard too! (and yes, you can do broken computer noises)
