I have an old big box DMM that has been my favorite echo pedal for a long, long time. I also have an Op Amp Big Muff that was my first fuzz pedal. I don’t use it much anymore but it does that sound when I want it.

The only other Ehx pedals I was really interested in are the Electric Mistress and Small Stone, but ended up getting A/DA flangers and phasers instead that cover those tones and more.

I was slightly interested in the Micro Synth and Pog-2, but never enough to buy one.

I would love a vintage 16-Second delay or Attack Decay, but the rarity and price is prohibitive. The reissue Attack Decay seems like a good pedal, but the 16-Second reissue was disappointing.

The only other Ehx pedals I have tried were and old Screaming Bird, hated it, and a regular Memory Man, held out for a DMM.

I've got several EH boxes. My personal favorite the the Attack Decay. Mine is one of the newer ones. Lotsa fun... "Incense and Peppermints" anyone?

I have a Hog2... not my favorite. It does a lot of weird stuff, but is very hard to dial it in to anything that I've found useful. I also have a B9, a Key9, and a Mel9. The B9 is pretty good, but it requires a lot of focus and finger dexterity to really get a good organ sound. The Mel9 does a pretty good flute. The Key9... meh. I've also got a Stereo Deluxe Memory Man. I have to admit that I haven't quite figured out how to use it. That said, a little bit of delay can sweeten reverb a little bit. Oh... and I still have my first generation LPB-1 and a Screaming Tree treble boost. They plug into the amp and aren't of much use.

Glad I'm not the only one who digs the Attack Decay!! I've got a new one for my bass pedal board and it's killer. It would be a tie between that and a 720 Looper my favorite EHX pedal. To be fair though, I'm just getting into EHX the last couple months...

It has to be the Big Muff. At one point I think I had about 8 variants, but now I'm down to owning 3, none of which are actually Electro Harmonix pedals.

When I first got into pedals in the late 90's, EHX were one of the few companies that made more out there sounds that I was gravitating towards. I've had small stones, clone theories, electric mistresses, Worms, micro-synths etc... but the one pedal that has been used in every single band that I've ever been in has been some kind of Big Muff.

Honourable mention to the Memory Man. I have a late 70's / early 80's MM with blue graphics that just sounds amazing. I don't gig it, as it's old, big and the power supply is just ridiculous. Plus, when you've got the whole band going, a lot of subtlety in delay type can be lost.

Love them all, think the Big Muff Deluxe is criminally under rated, you can dial in any Muff tone, check Kitraes settings suggestions... you never get lost in the mix.

DMM is just the sound(s) and the Polychorus has a lot to offer.

Green Rusian Muff and the ol' Electric Mistress are just about neck and neck for me, with the flanger edging ahead.

Honorable mention to the small stone. But I haven't played any of their more modern offerings. I'd like an op amp muff.

My favorite is the Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai. The backwards effects you can do with that thing are in-fucking-credible. Its a total love hate thing though. Because I don't use it for anything else and it takes up alot of space.

Another for the Deluxe Memory Man. :-*

I've probably have owned close to 15 EHX pedals. My top five in no order would be.

1. Soulfood
2. Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai
3. Ring Thing
4. Stereo Polychorus (if i had a stereo setup I could leave this on all the time.)
5. Germ Muff

I used to really hate EHX after I had 5 different pedals that all broke down in some way.

After getting trades of a Killswitch, Bass souldfood, and $20 for a RTG I gave them another chance.

Recently got the Attack Decay reissue and I'm really liking it.
I've had a Fran Blanche Big Muff for a while.
Tone knob: SunnO))) on the left, Billy Corgan on the right.

The oceans 11 is pretty bang for your buck too.

You know, the Holy Grail Deluxe was a damn fine reverb pedal. I kind of wish I'd kept it after getting a Sole-Mate spring reverb.

Tough question for me. I love EHX and have had dozens of their offerings over the years.

If I had to choose, I'd pick between the Big Muff variants, Deluxe Memory Man or Small Stone.

Other gems for me are the POG2, Memory Man with Hazarai, and the HOG.

OP amp Big Muff V5 ran at 12v to clean things up.
