Two words: Hyper Fuzz.
As of right now, it's the only Waza I'd just go out and buy. The Waza line is cool, don't get me wrong, but price/need hasn't inspired me. I realize we have the Behringer.

I want the Hyper Fuzz.

I NEED the Hyper Fuzz.
I'm the BOSS guy. I built almost every BOSS analog circuit...almost. I just built another FZ-2 but this one has an added octave lift switch. I'll have to take some pictures. Learning to build and understand circuits was the best thing I ever did musically. The Hyper Fuzz is amazing but the octave lift is so good it should have replaced the clean boost mode.
Edit: here's some bench pictures. I still need to take some legit ones in my photo booth.

I use the boost mode all the time, I definitely wouldn’t want to see it gone. But the octave lift would be a nice addition, I take back what I said earlier about the need for a Waza version.

I had some Boss pedals years ago, sold em when I got into "cool" pedals and then ended up with this on a whim

I've ended up with many more Boss since, both old and some new, mostly old though.

That is some high quality soldering! Looks great.

I have started a new folder with all diy BOSS builds. I started this quest nearly 2 years ago and am close to being finished. There are a couple analog pedals that either can't be built because of unobtainable parts or just plain sound bad (XT-2). Still building them and will update the folder as they are completed.

I actually do have a YouTube channel and have been posting sound clips for the past couple years. I primarily make the videos for fellow pedal builders as I've been out of the selling game the past year or two.
