I couldn't wait for the Detroit Casket (slated to maybe replace the Voyager) to show up so I transplanted the surf/seafoam green setup over to the PT Jr. this afternoon and rocked it out w/ the Mach IV and 5655 through the Super Reverb RI and TremLord w/ the Dr. Z 2x10:

It's going guitar > the boost/OD and phase/fuzz loops > Mystery Brain > TremLord input > the longer delay and amp trem/spring verb loop fed by the amp FX loop send > Buffered Splitter > Super Reverb RI input & loop return on the TremLord.

Aside from the Voyager still seeming a bit opaque/thick/chewy for what I'm looking for, the whole setup really clicks for me for a broad range of applications so far. It's giving me great surf/noir/pasketti sounds, awesome searing light glitch/octave fuzz, and seems to have amazing potential for noise making and shoegaze-y sounds. Sounds pretty good for heavy stuff too, but isn't quite there on the bite/attack yet for the OD sounds.

Stripped down, heavy on delay and modulation.

Guitar --> Count to Five (delay/looper/modulation) > Your and You're (Filtered Fuzz) > Positive (Hotcake Clone) > Maxon Analog Delay > Easy Vibe > Ibanez Bi-Mode Chorus > 856 for Zellerasn (totally insane looper that I can't even begin to describe) --> Peavey Classic 50 410 from the mid 90s.

(Effects Loop) Ditto Looper and Old Voodoo Labs Tremolo

Fresh in from a weekend trip to the east coast and I spent the morning playing these guys before heading to work.

My Everyday setup. I think I've narrowed it down to these three types of pedals as all I really need

Image

Squier J Mascis JM
Small Stone
Fuzzrocious Grey Stache (Civil War Big Muff with a lil more control)
Super Duper 2-in-1
Vox AC15

I don't think I'll ever sell the small stone, but lately I've been interested in trying a silicon AnalogMan Sunface instead of the Grey Stache. The Grey Stache is amazing, though, so it makes getting rid of it not easy. I try to only have like 3-5 pedals at max because I hate lugging around a ton of gear (and for a 15 watt amp, the Vox is an absolute UNIT). I also am looking at swapping the Super Duper 2-in-1 for a Double Rock. I originally wanted a Double Rock (I think I even made a thread about it on here) but I found the Super Duper for cheap. It works well for what I use it for, but I'm thinking the Double Rock will do EXACTLY what I'm looking for.

Diago Gigman board? I love mine, and enjoy the challenge of fitting everything on the relatively modest size. The only problem I find is you need pedals with high-up jacks (Boss / Xotic) at the start and end of the chain to avoid the lip. That's at least half the reason an EP Boost is first in my chain...

Yes, or get right angle jacks for ins and outs. This doesn't move around much, so I can leave things sitting on the lip like the SD-1 is in the photo if I need to try things out.

How are you liking your Montreal Assembly stuff? I've been looking at the Count to 5 for quite a while.

Loving the range of OD sounds available stacking the Condor with the BD2 at the moment...

The CT5 is really an amazing thing which I haven't yet fully tapped the potential of. That not fully exploiting it part goes about triple for the 856, which has a super high learning curve, but does really interesting things.

The other two are just nice pedals (I doubt there's a reason to search for a Positive as opposed to a Hotcake, but I really like it). But yeah, if I had to pick one of those 4, the CT5 for sure is the one.

Lovely Coronado!
Thanks ;)
-66 with 2013 modern player CiC neck, ive been looking for right neck but havent found yet. Couple years ago there seemed to be some avail. for around 300€ but now nothing.
Coronado II necks pop up occasionally but they are too costly these days, around 600-700€ shipped thats just too much imho.

I noticed after i posted this was effects section but cant edit/delete my posts

I think it belongs here anyhow. It's more general. There's an "Effects Setup" thread that's more effects-centred.
