Lovepedal Echophonic V2
Fans of analog delay should check this pedal. I'm not a fan of the company's policy to release the same pedals over and over again but at this price I wanted to check it out and I'm glad I did. It cost 100 euros and ten days later it was delivered at my door. I deliberately photographed these two pedals together. Looking at the Echophonics controls most people will expect a copy and so did I but they have a different tone. I always liked the tone of the DMM pre and sometimes I'd use it just for the pre. The Echophonic has a FET preamp that it's even more addictive. So much that I have put two delays on my board, one for delay and the Echophonic just for the pre to keep it always on. I'm not good on describing a delays tone, I'll just say the preamp is brighter than the DMM pre and it has lot's of clean gain so it can be also used as a boost. It's also easier to use the delay. I am used playing delays with a tap tempo and the DMM has been difficult for me to use, the Echophonic is much easier.

have you been able to compare the echophonic v2 preamp vs the preamp in the fet based xotic ep booster?

Re: Lovepedal Echophonic V2
I just picked up an Echophonic last week and I really love this delay.
Super warm delay that doesn't get in the way on distorted leads and has a really nice modulation.
Plus it's a much more handsome pedal than the previous version.
