Erm… yes…

I tend to put quotes on my circuit boards. Nobody seems to ever notice but I find it funny.

Really weird that you decided to put that quote on there because it was my idea to put some pancho markings on the side of this fuzz pedal when I got it with a custom color.

Interested in hearing how the mojo parts HP sounds...how gainy are the transistors you wound up using?
I'm looking to acquire (or build maybe?) another mojo-y HP pedal (I have an older Chuck Collins) with some basic improvements over the stock circuit.
A diode-lift switch like the Fredric version...and I'm curious how clean (or not) different Ge transistors can get in the circuit, in general. Any thoughts?

The diode lift would offer more volume since the signal won't be clipped. This circuit does't have an incredibly high output but plenty enough to make the pedal useful.

I can't really say too much about the Ge transistors in this circuit. I used a 2n404a as per the original.

I've been considering grabbing a large beaver kit though I looked at the pdf the other day and I'm not sure, I'd probably end up getting my dad to oversee it and/or take over. But I do want one. Always wanted an opamp muff as well, I think they'd cover all my fuzz needs. hmmm.. unless you wanted to sell me both pre-built.
Edit: though realistically I literally can't afford to be so lavish, I should get the kit and surprise myself.

BYOC is an excellent way to start since it has instructions for every single step. Just take it slow, read the whole document before you start, and do one step/component at a time.

its funny that you say this. I suggested to pastrecedes about making a dual pedal w/ transistor muff and IC muff in same enclosure. Once i save up some extra $...it will be my next purchase.
