Schliemer K - Cold Sounds Been playing Schleimer K a lot recently because we've a guest who really took to them after I introduced him. Really good band that evoke everything from Wire, to Bauhaus, to The Artery to Clock DVA and on but are somehow barely known and then only know for this cover.

Schliemer K - Demon Lust

Dali's Car - Cornwall Stone people laugh a bit at Dalis Car but I LOVE this and think it's incredibly beautiful.

Woodbine - Mound of Venus not a band you ever hear quoted but they have a kinda individual sound that's like a slighty more up and at em mildly modernised YMG.

Gabe Gurnsey - I Get Harder follow the acid tracks all the way to this ace new single sided white label

Linea Aspera - Preservation Bias Very cool that Dark Entries decided to forego a tenth Birthday Cake in the shape of a bat in favour of putting this original tape release out on the black stuff.

Linea Aspera - Syncretism I think Alison Lewis/Zoe Zanias is a fantastic singer, she's just got 'it'.

Linea Aspera - Antipodean Tedium critical levels of disdain. :)

D
I like that old time rock 'n' roll, don't try to take me to a disco.

I'm floored. I may have to get this one.

I have inexplicably left it years too late to buy Take Her Up To Monto and I am now falling in love with Róisín Murphy all over again:

Róisín Murphy - Ten Miles High

goodbye
cruel world
never again will I ever be grounded
on Earth
or be bound
by the hurt
in your blue eyes
Distance-crunching honcho with echo unit.

Years of Denial - You Should Worry stand out on the V.A - Archives Du Coeur Humain 2X12. I am a sucker for arctic cold foreign lady speaky speaky singing.

Curses- Insomnia physical isn't out yet but I stumped up for the pre at Hoga Nord to get the two taster files. The coolest low slung bass post punk sashay.

Curses- Sordo fully gothed wet bass get stuck to some Doors.

That's great, I'd love to know the story behind this one.
