Anyone else into this brilliant record? It's been the winner stays on on the family turntables for the last week or so and I feel it's going to stay there for a while.

Gabe is/was the drummer in Factory Floor but this is much more to my taste than their recent material.

Think Playgroup, Missy Elliot getting it on with Wrangler, nods to classic house, Techno, acid and EBM, Sheffield and Manchester post funk funk tinged drive throughs, a light application of coldwave khol, and a quarter gill of broken electro and new beat. It's a hot, humid and kinda sexy soundtrack to a good night out without leaving your living room.

His 12' on Richard Fearless of Death in Vegas Drone records with Nik Void was pretty good too. Falling Phase. That video was codirected by Taylor Burch of Tropic of Cancer and if you don't know them DVA Damas who most recently make music that you might like if you like this.
