everytime I saw them in Detroit would contradict this theory but I've only ever seen them in DC /Detroit/NYC which would probably lend to a proper audience for them

Right, I have no doubt they were very integral to the NYC and DC scenes. I'd just have liked to seen them on the same awareness level of an Arcade Fire or The Shins. They also knock socks off live. Got to see them play "The Stars are Insane" at the Teenbeat 20th a few years back and they were probably the highlight of the whole thing (maybe just shy of the Unrest reunion). They are a nice bunch of folks too.

I was at that show, i was at the whole weekend thing. I like Tuscadero a lot, flin flon / unrest as well

I skipped that show to my eternal regret. I was even living in Belltown at the time. I could have walked there.

Bedhead played there on their last tour and I stupidly skipped that one too.

It was amazing, such a great club. There was some sort of cafe attached to it, I believe, where they were sitting just a few feet from me. Had to turn off the fanboy switch and let them eat in peace .

I'd love to have seen Bedhead. The New Year at the Touch and Go fest was the closest I got.
