Thom Yorke interview.

Post by Telliot » Wed Jul 03, 2019 10:58 am

Just came across this, as he's doing a bit of promotion for Anima (both a great album and short film, if you haven't listened or seen either). I find him fascinating, and he's really become a much better subject in interviews than previously, which he addresses a bit.

Enjoy.
The cool thing about fretless is you can hit a note...and then renegotiate.

I'm a big fan. Radiohead has got to be my favorite band of all time but I've never dug deep into Thom's solo stuff until now. He's very good

I watched this a couple of days ago & had to dig deep to avoid switching it off because of the interviewer (who I've never particularly liked, even if he does come across pretty well in this). That aside, it was a great interview. Mr Yorke was surprisingly open & relaxed to pretty much everything thrown at him.

one of the best Thom interviews i've seen/heard. he's certainly become more open in interviews, and i think Zane did a great job here. very relaxed atmosphere. lots of good stuff.
also digging the album a lot. last track reminds me of Amnesiac-era Radiohead

watched it and was pleased with Thom's responses overall, hated the interviewer and his fanboyish ballyhoo.
I used to be cool, now I just complain about prices.
