But I figure that some of the conscious influences that went into its creation might pique one or two people's interest, so here's a short list: rock groups including The Who, Yes, The Doors, Led Zep and...The Beach Boys; specific guitar players such as Eric Johnson and Mark Knopfler (let's not leave out John Entwistle, though), the film Apocalypse Now, plus my favorite 20th Century composer Igor S, and even Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds. So there's a lot here. It was a nice break from doing the shorter singles that I typically do.I wish I could give out prizes to anybody who listens to the whole thing, lol. You never know.
