Hi,
I have recently joined the forum after several years of reading posts and enjoying the site. I have collected old guitars since I was about 14 years of age and have followed that well trodden path of 'trading up' to better and better equipment as the years have gone on. My current collection of old Fender's include a 1961 Stratocaster, 1966 Musicmaster, 1973 Telecaster Custom, 1974 Telecaster, 1975 Musicmaster Bass and 1984 MIJ Stratocaster. I have a number of non Fender guitars including a 1964 Gibson ES330TD, 1965 Hofner 500/1 Bass and 1990 Martin D41.
I love offset guitars and have owned at least four 1964 Fender Duo-Sonics over the years. The earliest was April '64 and latest, October '64. They remain one of my favourite guitars and are amazing value for money. More recently I have gotten into funky early 70's Fender's and think there are some great finds to be had from this era. I have recently bought what looks to be a late 60's / early 70's Jaguar which has been the subject of a topic here on this forum and I hope to share pictures with you all shortly to find out more about this guitar.
Thankyou, Howlin_Wolf!
