New Member from France!

Hello everyone!

I used to be more of a Gibson guy, yet attracted by Fender guitars. Still, each Stratocaster I owned (from Mexican to US Custom shop) barely lasted more than 6 months before it was back for sale. I'm NOT a Strat' guy.

Then I had a chance to buy a Mustang Reissue MG65 during a trip in Japan. Pretty cheap. I did some major upgrades on it, (user friendly wiring + Antiquity II pickups) and it became my first offset love!
I spent the last 2 years using mostly this Mustang. I loved it nearly as much as my Gibson Les Paul R0 + bigsby. This guitar was a first step. I needed more. A Jaguar seemed to be the type of guitar I really needed.
As soon as I sold my Mustang, I spent hours searching on the Web and this forum helped me A LOT!

My "chosen one" is a Johnny Marr Jaguar, in metallic KO. I love (almost) everything on this guitar.
Minor changes include original Jaguar Staytrem, PIO main tone capacitor, mint green Pickguard, black plastic switch tip, full set-up with 11-48 strings and Marr waterslide decal removal. (even though I'm grateful for the work Johnny did with Fender, I'm not what I would call a fan, and I didn't like the signature on the headstock).

This guitar is definitely my Number One! 8)

Well, please forgive my long post!! and potential misspellings, as english is not my native language.
I am really glad to join this forum.

Sylvain
