Bostin' from the Black Country

Hello all,
First off, just a thank you to the admin for getting me on. This will be my first forum, and it's all thanks to the Yamaha Flying Samurai.
I'm from the 90's (so I missed most of the good gigs), I'm a strickly-Strat player (not out of choice; I've tried many), but I'm in the process of becoming an SG-5a owner.
Bicycle mechanic by trade, full-time guitar nerd. Studied luthiery in London for two years, built an acoustic (nearly two) and working on a Tele at the moment. Built two 5W valve amps (thanks AmpMaker for the kits). Boss fan (the pedals, mainly, but Bruce is pretty good).Total Peavey amp nut (they're great).
Played in a band doing OG material half a lifetime ago. Now the house has turned into a 70's/80's Peavey amp collection, and spend most my time playing at home.
