Hey there...

Post by Ian » Mon Dec 04, 2006 9:41 am

Hi, my name is Ian and I just realized that I never did an introduction post when I registered.

I play guitar and bass, with my two main instruments being an AVRI Jazzmaster and an American Jazz Bass.

This site has been an awesome resource for me - glad I found it.

We actually "talked" once back at Guitar Geek. I had asked you some questions about pricing a Jazzmaster that was made up of a refinished '69 body and a strangely radiused Japanese neck. Deal ended up not happening though.

Oh, I remember that! So did you pick up the AVRI instead of it? I've never owned an AV Jazzmaster, but I do have an AV Jaguar that I like a lot.

Yup, I got the AVRI maybe a month after. I'm liking it very much. It's nicer to play than the other one I was looking at and in much less tempermental condition, but the '69(esque) sounded a little better.
