Just joined after lurking for months! Now with Pics!
Hey everybody, I'm Aaron, and after having lurked for many months decided to jump in and join this awesome forum! I dont currently own an offset, but have in the past, and Ive got plans to build a jazzmaster probably in the new year. Im also an active member over at the Re-Ranch forum, as well as, the My Les Paul forum. The thing I love the most about this forum (other than the kick-ass guitars) is the large international presence and the lack of attitude between the members, its really refreshing to have so much positive interaction with folks from around the world. As far as my musical tastes, I worship at the altars of Marr, Cline, and Shields like many others here, so Im sure Ill fit in well in that regard. My current rig consist of a Mesa Lonestar 2x12 combo, Les Paul R0, my old 62 mongrel strat, and Rickenbacker 330. Im not currently gigging regularly but plan on putting something together in the next year or so, Im putting most (all) of my free time into raising my daughter, but still play weekend warrior with my buddies when I can. Sorry for the long post but wanted to give everyone a good frame of reference as to who I am and what I can bring to your community, I look forward to mixing it up with you guys (and gals!).

You think you can come on with all this positivity and fit right in, like OSG is some kind of accepting New Age Fell-Goodery?!
Welcome.

Hi Pogue, and welcome.
As another relative newbie here, I also really appreciate the lack of attitude and cosmopolitan demographics.
Can we see your 330?

yaksox - its a bit foward of you asking to see another man's 330... How about we SLOW DOWN and ask what color it is first?

Id be happy to take some pics of the Ric as soon as I get my hands on my wifes camera! I have to say its a pretty sweet guit, right after I got it I immediately plugged it in to a little Vox Cambridge I used to have and cranked out "The Kids are Alright"! As far as the request for color......its fireglo. If I could just find the big Pound note sticker like Paul Weller had on his Ric,could fully realize my Mod fantasies!

That's a sweet guitar. If I could get a real Rickenbacker, I think it'd be that model.
Fender's had it's ups and downs but Rics have never gone out of style, never been overproduced and always had a really high price tag.

Some of my favorite players have used Rics over the years, but I still was'nt sure how I would like them, I always thought of them as kinda quirky. Ive gotta say its one of the best made guitars Ive owned and I can see now why Rickenbacker has such a long back order on them. My dad bought a 360 in mapleglo and after playing his I decided to get one. I currently have severe G.A.S.for a 360 in midnight blue but that will have to wait till I get over my offset G.A.S.. Thanks for all the great responses!
