hello from puddletown
I'm new to this, but have been obsessed with Jazzmasters & Jaguars since seeing the Youth on SNUB tv in the mid 80's. I live in Portland, Oregon with my beautiful family and play in Bonanza City & Synesthete Ensemble. My '86/'87 Japan Jazzmaster has been my #1 for about 10 yrs now, the 1st guitar I bought was a 1966 Mustang for $199 on "lay-a-way" in Las Cruces, NM. The MIM JM is calling to me, as are the photos of the Lee Jazzblaster prototype & the MIM Jaguar. Cheers, y'all!

Rad guitars!
Before bringing up drugs with your kids, hook your turntables up to a wah-wah pedal.

70's Japan copy, dosen't have the "of california " marks on the pickups or the peg head. It sounds awesome!

Interesting. I didn't know the in's and out's of Mosrite's. Always dug them though.bonanzza wrote: 70's Japan copy, dosen't have the "of california " marks on the pickups or the peg head. It sounds awesome!
At least, since this:

(Although, I think that is a Univox copy)
Re: hello from puddletown
Yeah, it's a Univox Hi-flyer. Maybe even a custom model, I always liked how they put a Jaguar style trem on a Mosrite body.
