I'd be interested to hear your opinions on the d1000e. Its my go to dynamic for cabs but my "locker" is more like a shoebox you might pick up at a yard sale.

I got a few.

414EB (c12 capsule)
Lucas CS-1
U48
2x U87 (p48)
5x md421
2x akg C61 (tube 451's)
451
Various SM57's/58's
D112
Some weird akg tri-sound mics.
4x C-ducers (ex bbc contact mics)

I sold my pair of U47fets...regret that one.. But needed the cash.

Here's my little brood:

AKG C414b-ULS
AKG D112
Audio-Technica AT4040
Audio-Technica AT2021 (2)
Beyerdynamic M500
Cascade Vin-Jet w/Lundahl
Electro-Voice 635a
Electro-Voice RE20
Heil PR30
Heil PR40
MXL 2001
Sennheiser MD421-II
Sennheiser MD441-U
Shure SM57 (2)
Shure SM58 (4)

I have decent dynamics covered for what I do but would really like to get another c414 b-uls and a pair of decent SDCs, maybe 451EBs with a few different capsules. And then some day a nice tube LDC. Right now I am concentrating on getting/building better mic preamps so I can actually take advantage of the good mics I do have. Recording gear GAS is so much worse than guitar GAS.

Haven't had a chance to try them out yet.
Guy was offloading a pile of Akg dynamics for cheap so grabbed them to cover 57 kinda work

I'm down to a handful of Shure, an AKG, a couple Audio Technica and a Blue baby Bottle. I miss the Lawson 47 the most. I feel like I want something C-12ish to add at some point.

I don't have anything too crazy but am really happy with the recordings I'm getting. Advanced Audio mics were a great investment

4x sm57
AKG D112
2x Cascade Fathead w/ Lundahls
2x Advanced Audio CM414 (AKG 414 style)
Advanced Audio CM47fetCE (fet 47 style)
2x Audio Technica AT3035
2x Audio Technica Pro 37

The CM47fetCE is the one with the 47 capsule instead of the 67, correct? I've been looking into the CM12 myself.

I think so, I tried both and the CE is way more like a real fet 47. The standard cm47 is a great mic in its own right but it's brighter and didn't shine on kick out like the CE. All their mics are rad, I want a cm-20 (re-20 style) next
