Are we allowed to "promote" ourselves here? Not really a band. Just me and a co-worker and a drum machine. We are old, have kids, and have no time. It is recorded completely without computers.
Guitars are 2012 Marrguar and 66 Mustang. Bass is 78 P bass. Also a cheap 80s Alvarez acoustic.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you! Never heard of The Chills I am ashamed to admit, but I have now checked them out and I see what you mean. The singer looks to be about my age at least. Their songs are however much more developed. I have another "project" soon to hit Spotify, YouTube etc... Stay tuned.
Thanks for listening!

Re: My "band"
I like them, very cool. You should put them up on Soundcloud, if you haven't already. And if you have, post the links.
The vocals remind me a bit of Telephone - not the Telephone, but a band that Eric Hedford from the Dandy Warhols started 10 or 20 years ago. I bought their album Automatic, I like it a lot (I need to listen to it again, it's been a while).
There are a few clips from that album on Youtube that Eric put up, but they're all cut short (like to 7 seconds) for some reason (shouldn't be a copyright thing, since they're his), but here's one from their first EP that will give you an idea:

Cool stuff, motor on with it.
Edit: I went to his website, and there's a Vimeo of their song Automatic from their album of the same name. Here's the link:
