I think it looks more like yellowed Ocean Turquoise

I'm not arguing, because obviously we'll never know, and I suspect OTM and SGM from that era are virtually identical now, but the early AVRI sherwoods were a much darker colour than any vintage ones I've seen pics of - they always look this light from what I've seen. Vintage OTMs tend to look a little darker to my eyes.

And for the record, my sherwood is virtually identical, too!

I know that the pictures originally supplied were from Fretted Americana's website, and they do pro photography with a very intense light source. Most of their guitars look a bit light in their pictures. The second picture (I posted) is from the current owners listing on Gbase, and is obviously taken with a high quality camera but looks like more natural lighting and shows the darkening a bit better. They're definitely the same guitar (and its not mine....) . Sherwood often does fade to a very dark "Caddy Green" if very UV exposed, but I believe both are Sherwood and not OTM.
I'm a reasonable man get off my case...

If this had a bound neck it would be perfect.
