What's up with the pups here? The bridge pup looks like it has a ring around it. I would think they would both be straight dog ears like the neck. Maybe I've just never noticed it before.

It's a straight dog ear but is sitting up on that ring for height. Look at this pic.

Gorgeous guitar. I love the plain natural.  :-*

I'm glad there are a lot of guitar players pursuing technique as diligently as they possibly can, it leaves this whole other area open to people like me.

Personally, I'd rather have the extra "frills" of the two pups.  :P But all Gibby archtops are beautiful...
