fucking A
I'm glad there are a lot of guitar players pursuing technique as diligently as they possibly can, it leaves this whole other area open to people like me.

oh man... don't rub it in, it hurts.
i used to have one exactly like that one. it was a 1962 though.

and look what it had inside:

i sold it some years ago on ebay for $8900 to pay a sheetload of bills and stuff. damn i had so little feedback (must've scared people off).
i shoud've held onto it for some time more. but i was just too paranoid having it at home...

Pat. :(

No doubt! Plug it in to a little Marshall 18 watter or hell, go for the money shot with a bluesbreaker, and throw down! Just heard Tales of Brave Ulysses on my way home from work!

God, what an instrument. One of these days I'll have a 335 in sunburst, because that is the Only Pretty Guitar.

not quite as cool but i had this '82 es 335 for a while. from my personal experience the key to a good 335 is the size of the neck. big, fat neck es335s stay in tune better and i swear they sound better too! i dunno what the necks were like the '62 or '64 gibsons but those earliest 335s had chunky necks!
