looks like height adjustment screws, which is weird as the neck has them in the normal spot for non-dogear p-90s. no binding is rather odd for a gold top too,and what are those screws on the bridge P90

they also had to serial numbers on the back of the headstocks.
originality is usually determined by a number of things individual to that run, shortly after, they got serial numbers (and eventually a wraptail tailpiece and then a TOM)

dots and binding??
that must of been someone customising the guitar after purchase, as far as I know they never made trapeze tailpiece LPs with dots and binding
maybe it was a 50s Special?
