Wouldn't be a legit 60's SG without a crack!

You're killing me.
I had a '62 with a factory Bigsby.
$175 for it in 1978. Original case.

I sold it in 1998 for $1800.
My only problem was that I was afriad that if I looked hard enough at the neck it would crack.

STUPID!!!!!!!!!

That's his goal. Either we all switch over to non-offsets or we all die. Either way, more offsets for him.

That bastard!

I have a SG Jr. that I am pretty sure is a '61 or '62. It was original when I bought it in the early 80's. It is not original anymore, but I think I still have all the origianl parts. The guitar did not sound very good when I got it, and it had the crappy tremelo so would not stay in tune. I put a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pickup on it, a new bridge system, new grover tuners, and the thing rocks. The bad thing is I had it refinished......another stupiid thing I did from those days!!!!

I regret refinishing it, but honestly, the guitar was literally unplayable the way it was. It plays and sounds great now! I used it for years when I played in the metal band, so I have no regrets as far as replacing the parts go.
