Yuri Landman Instruments

Post by pasteland » Wed Aug 14, 2013 9:11 pm

Was wondering if anyone else had some Yuri Landman Instruments and if so which ones? for those that don't know, he does sell instruments and has various for sale on his site. His band Bismuth is also amazing, and the best demonstration for his instruments.

Cool! I'd love to do one of his workshops.

Yuri Landman's instruments are heavily featured on the new Einstürzende Neubauten album "Rampen - apm: alien pop music" - played by Jochen Arbeit.
Homeswinger, The Box, Hard Drive and Kalimba are Instruments made by Yuri Landman.
Einstürzende Neubauten - Aus den Zeiten features a Hard Drive that makes a very low booming sound.

I went to two of his workshops, I have a homeswinger built in 2009 I think that I never use, in part because it's a pain to tune, his early design had a flaw with the string path so it stays in a corner most of the time. I've painted it and modified a bit over the years :
