Me too. I've seen a few examples of this kind of carving that have shown genuine skill &, dare I say it, taste.
It seems far less drastic (but just as permanent) than letting some chump loose on the band saw.
I guess it's a pity that such a lovely and early example of a Mustang had to be "tagged" but hey, I suppose the owner can do what he wants with it.
The price though!! What the fuck? You can get a gold guard Jazzmaster for that kind of money, and maybe even a 70s Mustang with the leftovers.
