I agree, that green Jag at the top of this page looks absolutely stunning!

This thread has some of the best colors ever. I wonder if you could replicate the effect with intense UV light on a new finish? I love the blue->green shift variations the most, but the other ones are great too. If I was a custom finish shop, I would think about replicating this effect.

The Custom Shop models definitely do yellow!



This was a NOS Sonic Blue Jazzmaster I bought. I lived in a flat that had the sun on it all day and old windows that didn’t filter UV light. I left it out on the sofa for a few days whilst out and the finish completely yellowed. When I sold it (worst guitar buying/selling decision of my life) it was Surf Green.

a few months ago there was this super yellowed duosonic on ishibashi. it was meant to be olympic white but it was genuinely cigarette smoke yellow.
