Yeh a price is a little silly...even in Europe. I love Sherwood and Sherwood on a jag is rare for sure...but way rarer on a Jazzmaster. To me it's under Shoreline Gold etc in rarity which is under Surf Green, Seafoam..which is under Shell Pink... I have only seen one Shoreline Gold jaguar in Europe...mine :) But I have seen a few Sherwoods...one was Johnny Marr's back in 1994 for sale in New Kings Road for £1400 back when he thought Jaguars and Jazzmaster were crap guitars. He did eventually catch up with us though 15 years later once he knew it made him look cool with the kids ;)

I’ve bought and sold quite a few custom color JMs and Jags over the years, I still say it’s quite overpriced. Not saying someone won’t pay $10k for it but more would be extraordinary.

I’ve also lived and bought/sold in the EU and US so I am familiar with EU pricing :)

I'll take your word for it. It's hard to know nowadays when some people are asking 7000$ for CAR.

The ones I can think of off the top of my head are Halkan's, Hellstone music and Tip Top. I'm not sure if there are any others that specialise in vintage gear. Any of those sound familiar?
It wasn't Halkan's and it wasn't Hellstone (both are great stores, I remember them clearly), it was a really small one that some private wordpress style private blog has recommended, that's all I remember. I couldn't find that blog again. I think the blog said the store was co-owned by some famous swedish musician. That's all I remember. They had no more than 30 guitars there, maybe even less. But all somehow really special.
Could it be Twang that once (maybe 15 or 10 years ago) had a smaller shop on Söder when they opened up? They had sometimes really rare gear mixed with Squiers and so on. I've seen a few custom color jags there over the years.

Never knew they used to be in a smaller space, when I've been there the only offsets they had were some 70's student models. Maybe it was the one!
