It might look cool if you painted it black and converted it to a 7 string, you could use the same bridge.

After all it is just an old guitar.

This is why this is my favorite forum ;D .. I get good ideas on what to do with this hunk of junk. I don't have a lot of money left over, but I think first it needs jumbo's and a brass nut. Maybe locking tuners.

Couldn't you buy another one and turn them into a doubleneck?

wow, someone really bent the shit, out of that trem-bar... I would get a repro right away.

I saw this guy play a guitar just like that on youtube, sounded awful... Nels...something.

I would trade it for a real guitar, like a Gibson ES-335 or a Les Paul....

I think you should saw the round part off the headstock so it looks like a sword or something equally-badass.

Oh dear. I think it might look passable if you glue some LED skulls onto it.
No-one is going to take you seriously as a guitarist without some skulls

Come on, don't be a laughing stock. Get the skulls and stick them on.

I've just had the most original idea ever. You know those old Harmony guitars from the '60s? Well the whole reason they sound so cool is entirely due to the goldfoil pickups and nothing else. Now, nobody's ever done this before but here's what you do: buy an old Harmony (although it's becoming harder and harder to find ones with the original pickups, no idea why), rip the pickups out of it and put them in your Jazzmaster. BOOM. Your guitar just became, like, 1000% more unique.
