Good to see a happy ending with this...and I am sure your dream, all original, Jazzmaster is somewhere out there waiting.

I've been in touch with Johnny a few times since writing the letter. The good news is he actually has all his money back; he hassled Paypal to get all of his conversion and other fees back too; and happily was successful.
So I guess this is both a happy example - and a warning. Crooks won't back down, you can't trust their assurances, and you need to be persistent. Happy trading, all.
