As for 27% on top of the hammer price... TWENTY SEVEN?!?!
11. The Premium
The Buyer shall pay to the Auctioneer a premium of 20% of the hammer price together with VAT on such premium.
Additional premium of 2.5% + VAT of the hammer price will be incurred when bidding via the online platform ‘GH Live’
Live bidding will also available via the-saleroom.com, additional premium of 4.95% + VAT at the imposed rate will be incurred on the hammer price.

I bid via something other than The Saleroom, just their own website and the 'using the internet' fee was less than that.

If you bid online live on their own website it is exactly 27% when you factor in the VAT.
