Found this 1975 Fender Mustang in a pawn shop today

Post by BenG76 » Sat Apr 13, 2019 6:05 pm

Found this one in a pawn shop today along with an Epiphone Gold top Les Paul with P-90's today. It looks to me like it has had blue paint over the original white finish possibly. Along the edges the blue paint has worn and you can see white under it. Not sure if I may try to take the blue off yet or not. Serial number appears to be from 1975. Cool guitar and I got a decent deal since I bought a package deal of two guitars.

The white underneath could just be the undercoat + it looks cool as it is

Seeing this guitar has convinced me that i need to get a white pickguard for my 73 reissue competition Mustang. It just looks so classy!
