Weird Jazzmaster decal placement
What do you guys think? Not fake looking just oddly placed. Getting shots of the rest of the neck, but everything else checks out. I’ve seen’m like this on Duo Sonics quite a few times, but never on a Jazzmaster.

It looks real and on top, but when things are done by hand the result isn’t always perfect. I would think they could have pulled off a misplaced decal and redone it with another, but it was probably deemed “close enough.”

The rest of the neck would deserve a very close inspection.

Nit-picking here, but what's with the string spacing on the nut, especially the E-B gap? Surely that can't be an original nut?

Yeah, the nut is a bit weird. I don't remember; i passed on the guitar and now the details escape me.
