What strings fit a BassVI for A-A tuning?

I want to convert my L-series Bass VI to A-A tuning. I bought a set of Ernie Ball Baritone strings, but they are not long enough for the Bass VI. Any recommendations?

I had my VI tuned Bb-Bb for a long time using .63-.14 from Kaliummusic. They carry a bunch of hybrid VI strings. For A-a, try .76-15, .73-.15. or .70-.15.

Yeah that was the route I took after going thru the same exact thing. Finding the strings weren’t long enough was really stupid! I emailed Kalium and asked what’s be typical for VI baritone setup and just got a couple sets of what they recommended. They weren’t stupid cheap, but also weren’t stupid expensive so I got a couple sets. Definitely the best option I’d say.

Kalium fit. Or LaBella.

D'addario it except the 1st string...I use those, standard guitar strings, but used a bass string on the lowest string. Plus for some reason i had some Kalium 1st strings lying around which is lucky.
