So … I have acquired an old Jaguar - not sure of age but its a block neck - not bound - can you get a genuine fender block not bound neck? the tuners look age related - and are kluson style but stamped ESP - any ideas of age? would posting a picture of the headstock decal help?
checked the base of the neck and no date stamp there - the truss rod adjuster appears to be old brass too - looks original.

No, there were never block necks without binding.

Pictures would definitely help.

But nothing about the description provided suggests this is a genuine Fender vintage neck.

EDIT: A maple neck with block inlays but without binding is available on the 'Modern Player Jazzmaster HH'.
