Black JM with matching headstock...ever?

Post by Eaponte83 » Wed Jul 17, 2019 3:52 am

Hi everyone. I'm working on a partsmaster and I was wondering if there ever was a JM in production with a black finish, matching headstock, and white or white pearloid pickguard? Other than the 1996 limited edition Ventures version, that is. Or are the ones that exist (I've only seen two or three, ever) all refins?

Thanks!

yes, but I guess all were custom orders (assuming that green guards were actually white back in the early - mid 60's)

Plenty were made in the 60s.
