What does the 4-digit neck date of 70's Jazzmaster mean?

What does the 4-digit neck date of 70's Jazzmaster mean?

Hello, Please teach me what the following 4-digit neck date "0100" of my 1974 Jazzmaster means.

The first two digits are supposed to be the model code. I thought that "01" was for Precision Basses, though. The two numbers after the model code are the fretboard code. "00" is rosewood fretboard.

Thank you. I think so, but as this is not Precision Basses, I doubt that.
