Well, last weekend i bought this guitar.
The owner told me that was a 65 Mustang, but the body was sunburst so the body wasnt 65.
After some research with a friend we concluded that was a 65 neck with neck plate and 72 body and electronics. Strange mix. It came with its original case and strap. Tuners were changed.
If you cand add extra data i will be pleased. I paid 1000$, that i think is a fair price considering that is all original except tuners.

Cool guitar...my first offset was a 70s Sunburst Mustang.

The price is great for this all.
Normally I don´t like sunburst. The Mustang is the only guitar where I think it looks even nice in sunburst.

Nice find! Those late 65 slab board necks are the amazing. I've got one paired with a 65 Jag body and I liked it so much I've got another one to start another partsguar build.
