Vintage Teal Green Metallic example?

Post by N0_Camping4U » Tue Nov 05, 2019 6:49 pm

Poking around on Instagram and I saw this: https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/ ... lic/?hl=en

I can't direct post the image, sorry. This dude says 'all original 1965 Teal Green Metallic'.

Bridge alone makes me suspect this isn't original. But even if it was, there's no way this is TGM. Looks more like Charcoal Frost, and I don't even think it's that.

What say thee? Simply a refin?

That link just goes to a bunch of random instagram guitar (and car) posts for me-- most of the colors are all over the place. I see a lot of what I'd call faded Sherwood green (but there is some debate on what 'true' Sherwood green is/was here on OSG and elsewhere).
