Jazzmaster 62 Blueprints

Post by Qlonk » Wed Dec 04, 2019 6:25 am

Hello all.

As I am new here.. my first question is in the title..

I've been looking everywhere for the plans of the Jazzmaster 62 body.. I want to make it myself.. with the help of my dad who is a guitar builder.
but..

we can't find any plans detailed enough.. no body thickness en curves and stuff..

anybody who can help us out?

Kind regards
'Sander'

Some JM plans here .... not sure of their provenance or accuracy ...

thanks for the answer!

I did find those myself.. but no thickness.. or body curves there.. those plans are handy for the electronics and such.

I'll keep on looking! ^^

Not 100% clear what you're looking for, in addition to the several plans there, eg below ... but you would need to compare to a real 62 to confirm accuracy. Maybe people here have known accurate plans, or knowledge of what's wrong with the published ones. Tummy cut etc would have been cut by hand, and maybe not off a plan, but could be measured, eg ...
