Haha, that‘s the same thing I thought! ;)
The bold font makes it just look more badass somehow. Maybe also because it‘s closer to the Jaguar font that way - and because these heastocks came with the Block-inlays?!

I picked 64-66...but to be honest, I can't see much difference between them .
Buying another guitar will not make me a better guitar player. I was wrong; I bought another guitar and now I'm boss.

Haha....that one is a bit too progressive for me. I’m a stick in the mud!

I’ve always been a fan of the Fender ‘transition’ decal. On a JM i prefer it with the smaller headstock, but on a Strat i get really excited about the transition decal on the larger ‘CBS’ headstock. Dunno why - maybe because there are relatively few of them it’s a novelty?

Thanks for playing :)
J.

I prefer the original headstock with spaghetti logo.

The large headstock designs were pretty much the same shape across all models that used them, so yea you're are correct.

It is like a Parker headstock had a prison baby with a Fender headstock.

The 1966/7 gold decal is the best IMO.

Yes, that's a Marauder in my profile pic. No, it's not for sale.
