I took delivery of this beaut of a 1969/70 MIJ Mosrite Mark I yesterday. (Thanks tribi9!)
Set it up last night and gave it a thorough workout this afternoon. What a MONSTER! Pickups are flaming hot and neck is pretty rapid also.
I had a newer MIJ Ventures a few years ago which had a thin, thin, thin neck which was a bit too brutal for me. This is a bit more of a handful and is super fun to play.
Looking forward to getting out of the house and back to my practice space so that I can properly let it loose.

Really nice guitar especially in that blue, one of the first electrics I ever owned. Low low frets if I remember correctly.

Yeah, the frets are pretty low but not as extreme as some Mosrites I’ve played.
Pickups are currently duct taped together as the glue has failed and the internals are coming out of the plastic covers. I need to figure out how best to stick these back down but for now duct tape is working just fine.
