$250,000 lefty comp stang

Post by timbo86 » Tue Feb 27, 2024 12:17 pm

Is this for real? The guy selling says its worth that price and that its rarer and as valuable as a 1959 burst. Definitely a rare guitar but c'mon.....

At the time of this posting, it appears as though 918 people have decided it's not worth that price.

I think that the comparison to the burst figures are silly too. Yes there were 1600 made but most definitely only 1 or 2 known lefty bursts. There are way more than 1600 comp stangs out there. Nuts

I love how there is no option to make an offer too, it must be a fair price :fp:

And yet it's on Reverb Bump, so he's obviously keen to sell quickly.

Pretty sure that’s the guitar that was sold for $17k a few months back.
I have nothing to offer anybody, except my own confusion?
