But we’ll continue to keep our eyes peeled for you. There has to be a better option. Have you considered scouring the auction houses? That’s one place where a lot of these “We have an exclusive and endless supply of pristine 60’s offsets” shysters get their £20K princesses from (normally for peanuts).

Thanks all, will keep looking.

I think realistically £3k is the absolute max I'd go to. I played a '73 that was all original except nut and a rewound bridge pickup last week. That was £2850, red and no matching headstock. If that's my entry point so be it, but I'm hopefully (probably naively) there's better deals out there.
