not a Fender, but an offset nonetheless...is that a headstock matching the pickguard?

looks like someone could easily impale themselve with the trem arm, looks extremely sharp in that pic.

I've seen authentic MOP clad headstocks that look just like that on a few custom shop Fender Stratocaster guitars. Haven't seen one on a Jag or Jazzmaster.  I doubt they get a lot of requests for that sort of thing.

I sort-of want one. A lot of Dutch '60s bands played Egmonds because they couldn't afford an import. I've never played one, but apparently (and unfortunately) they have a reputation for being not that great. These things are typically covered in vinyl (like many Höfners from the same era)...I've always found those finishes strangely alluring.

my old teacher has a few Egmonds. He has a bass guitar by Egmond hanging on the wall, he says he touched it once to hang it up there when it was still in a pristine condition... it broke all by itself.

There were cheap and expensive Egmonds, some of the more expensive ones might be pretty decent.

I expect they go "thump" when you drop them. Otherwise, I wouldn't know, though I probably have some CDs they are used on.
