Here's a very similar one that should fit fine: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SS:GB:1123

Damn I need to find myself one of those trems...

Has anyone seen them for sale anywhere? How much do they go for?
Sometimes a guitar is just a guitar

But too often it's not

thank you guy, I appreciated your answer and pics very much!

anyway the vibrato arm in the ebay link, it seems different... well, I want to remark the "it seems" part because the picture that the seller provided is really bad... :wtf:

No, that's not a photochop--12 strings & a whammy! As Neil Young once said about his Bigsby "You already were in tune"
I saw one of those in a book and was floored. If only they did a six string version. :?

It is different - I just meant it had a large black tip and would fit, but yes, the tip is longer and more rounded on that one.

These guitars were also badged as "Tempo". Here's a pic of one I nearly bought a while ago, got as far as discussing shipping price from USA to NZ with the seller, then decided I was pushing my budget a bit hard at the time and didn't go through with it. I regret not buying it, and seeing pictures such as yours makes me kick myself again. :squint: I hope you enjoy that guitar, with a little effort most of those old MIJ guitars can be made to play pretty well. Here are pictures of my ET-270's tremolo arm. It works great and feels really solid despite the weird bend, rust, and the odd thin non-threaded portion.

Seeing your pic made me take a look at the one I have put aside for a project- it doesn't have the non-threaded bit at the end like yours does, but to my surprise there's a little tensioner spring inside (too fatigued to actually do anything- if it ever did), with a tensioner screw accessible from the back. I'm thinking maybe that non-threaded bit on the end of yours is meant to sit inside the tensioner spring that may or may not still be there.
